Our Blonde Ale is amazingly light, crisp and refreshing with a clear lager-like character. This palate pleaser is our lightest ale; brewed with pilsner malt it has a light honey sweetness, beautifully smooth and balanced its sure to quench your thirst.

Draft. A hazy yellow beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw, as well as light notes of hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw, and light notes of hops, leading to a lightly bitter finish.

Pour on tap at the brewery, clear golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of grass, bread, some slight vanilla, hints of earth, slight touch of fruity notes. Taste was a mix of grass, vanilla, touch of grain into some husk, touch of bread, hints of fruit, finishing fairly dry, slightly sweet.

27 July 2013, tap at Solvang Brewing Co. Pale yellow, clear, steady bubbles. Nose is faint; sweet straw malt. Thin body and fizzy. Very sweet lager, almost sugary, and raw grain. Nice and refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A clear golden pour with a white head. Not a terribly good nose. Corny with some straw, grass, apple, and a hint of bread. Pretty grainy and bland. The flavor is watery, corny, and grainy. Just sweet for the most part, but also grassy. A bit of apple ester, yeast, and a bit of cardboard.

This smells like a plain lager. The flavor of this beer is also pretty ho-hum. Just a general plain lager body flavor to this.
