1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Boystout (1000) - Chisinau, - OCT 3, 2009
Can 0.44 L. The best thing here is the colour: nice amber and sparkling. The palate is neutral watery and somewhat metallic.
1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 imdownthepub (7171) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 15, 2008
Canned from Somerfield, Banbury. Carbonated gold with fizzed head. Caramel, wet card, boiled and bad. Cannot believe it still sells. Terrible.
1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20 Daredevil (77) - Bern, SWITZERLAND - MAY 7, 2008
of course you should not be too fuzzy about a bitter coming in a fourpack at the price of a single can of a reputed brew .... however the money is not well invested ... this bitter at an ABV of 2.1%vol just tastes a bit like carbonated water poured over the remains of a mash of hops and barley with a add of some smoked malt extract .... NOT RECOMMENDED (at any price)!
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 golubeer (51) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 6, 2007
Can poured into a English Pint. Golden, nice creamy head. Some caramel. Uncomplicated, drinkable.

Somerfield, alexandra parade. Aroma is minimal, mainly biscuity an caramalt. Taste is similar carbonation isnt too harsh and it slips down easily enough.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Maria (7805) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUN 1, 2007
It’s a golden bitter with a nice, creamy head. The aroma has notes of caramel and fruit just like the flavour, that has a light bitterness. It’s an uncomplicated and drinkable sessionbeer, that is quickly forgotten. My can is 4%.
0.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 DruncanVeasey (4800) - NUNEATON, Conference North, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JUN 21, 2006
UPDATED: JUN 7, 2007 Bizarre, nauseating stench of brine, dockyards and toilet cleaner. Fizzes pathetically for 30secs, then assumes the colour and stillness of malt vinegar. But tastes nothing like as good. I’m not a snob about supermarkets’ own-brand efforts, but this is by a long, long way the most atrocious attempt at ’beer’ it has ever been my displeasure to taste. Not fit to feed the slugs.
1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 SilkTork (4692) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, WALES - MAR 18, 2006
Canned from Somerfield. Wet and fizzy with some thin malt and a vaque metalic stale hop flavour. Drinkable but, as expected, not top quality.
