COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Somersby Cider is a refreshing, sparkling and natural cider with 15% apple juice and 4.7% alcohol. Best enjoyed on ice. Ingredients: Apple wine, sugar, concentrated apple juice, carbonation, flavours, citric acid, natural aroma and 3 different E-numbers.

Editor’s note: Available in Denmark through Carlsberg, and in Norway through Ringnes.

Not a big fan of industrial cider, but this one was nat that bad. Fresh aroma of green apples and some citrus. Taste is the same. Not too sweet as many of the other industrial ciders, which is good. Aftertaste is quite sour, but not too dominating. Good balance between the sourness and the sweetness. A very okey cider in my opinion.

500 ml can. Pours a clear gold apple juice color with little head that dissipates quickly though maintains good carbonation. Aroma just like apple juice. Taste is just like apple juice. No hint of alcohol - well hidden by the sweet apple taste. In summary, carbonated apple juice...

Bottle 0.33 Yellow color with tiny head that dissapears. Its ofcourse sweet and has taste of apple. It’s more than juice than a cider.

330 ml clear bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger.ABV is 4.5%. Pale golden colour, pours fizzy with a short-lived white head. Artificial and sugary "apple" aroma. Tastes like an alcopop full of artificial flavourings and sugar - which is indeed what this "cider" actually is. Avoid!

A light yellow pour has an initial sweet taste and a sour finish. It’s nice and refreshing on a hot summer day!

It’s a common bottle in supermarkets and some bars in Portugal. Lively carbonation and straight forward apple aroma. Sweetness is medium.
