1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
UPDATED: JUL 12, 2014 Straw, white dissipating head. Nose is green apple, mineral water, sweet malt. Flavour is really sweet green apple, sweetness lingers in the finish. Similar to Yanjing etc but a bit higher carbonation and flavour is not as strong. The sweetness really lingers though. Pretty bad, many pale lagers I could drink regularly but not this one.

Can from 7 Eleven in Hongkong: Nearly no aroma, some grain. Yellow, urin like color with a quickly diminishing head. Flavor is very grainy, few sweetness, no hops. Watery, forgettable.

500 ml bottle ordered and shared while having dinner with friends in Kowloon City. This is the 2nd macro we had after having Blue Girl already.
Piss-like pale yellow colour; Razor thin head and white foam which fades in 20 seconds; Minimal lacing and some carbonation; Almost no smell, with only some faint corn syrup notes; Faint sweet taste of sweet corn, rice, malt, light wet cardboard, and faint notes of chalk dust. Watery body and palate; Mouthfeel is increasingly annoying corn syrup and apple juice! No hoppiness detected and has no finish. Slightly dry after taste, very easy to mouth.
Comments: coming from the same brewery which makes Blue Girl, I first suspected this was an alias beer, but it wasn’t and it’s even worse than Blue Girl proper. No smell, bugging adjuncts, watery body, no aftertaste. In one word: forgettable.

500ml can. Pours with okay foamy head that goes away quick, leaving a glass of urine staring back at you. Fairly strong aroma of lemon and cardboard. Taste is lemon with a watery finish and cardboard aftertaste. Another faceless pale lager for the database.
