Hopfiger, deutlich herber Antrunk. Der Hopfen steigert sich noch deutlich, das Bier wird kernig und herharrt. Süffig, kernig, ok. Typisch fränkisches Kellerbier. 8/9/9/9//9

(Called Kellerbier) Draught at the brewpub. Ceramic mug, creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, flower and light butterscotch. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, caramel, flower and the finish is dry and slightly citrus-like.

Ceramic mug. Light light unclear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, roasted, keller, damp stained, light hoppy, citrus, earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20100404]

Ceramic mug. Has a light fresh hop nose. Dry, minerals and light herbs with a fresh pale malt finish. Nice frankenbrew, good balance and refreshment.

Draft @ brewpub. In krug, is dark gold with frothy head. Aroma of mandeln, candied nuts, and wood. Nice toasted wood flavors. Is very dry toasty and earthy rather than floral. A good country beer.

1.0 l bottle at PBF. Golden color with creamy head. Malty honeyish flavor with notes of malt husks and hint of sulfur. Malty honeyish flavor with fruity bitterness and hint of rubber. Rounded mouthfeel, yet the bitterness is somewhat coarse.

Bottled at PBF. Lightly hazy golden, small head. Grassy hops backed by nice buttery malt. Dry and firm, pleasantly hoppy. Freshening, well balanced and very drinkable with long salty bitterness.

Bottled (1 ltr, PBF). Golden color, small white head. Grassy hoppy aroma with buttery hints. Quite grassy hoppy-bitter, slightly grainy, some sweetish buttery notes. Nice crisp lemony bitter bite, more or less standard German pils with extra hops.

(Bottled, 1.0l) Hazy golden with a small, lacy head. Flowery-grassy-aromatic nose with pale, honey-buttery malt. Grassy hops, some buttery hints in the flavor with some bitterness. Almost medium body with soft carbonation. A very basic German lager.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white fluffy head. Aroma is malts, sulphur, some yeast and mildly earthy notes. Flavour is quite much the same. Refreshing.
