0,5 l bottle. THX to kappldav123 for it. Pours hazy dark brown in the glass. Small head for a Weizen. Caramell on the nose. Starts with caramell and surprising sour notes. Yeast and light malty. Later hints of coffee. And all with strange sourish notes. Not my cup of tea. Or wrong bottle?

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass very dark, almost black, nice head. Starts intense malty, fine roasty, quite sourish notes. Fruity like plum. Finish more earthy-malty, less sourish. Not bad!

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Hazy reddish brown color. Sweetish clovey, bananish, smoky, toffeish and aroma. Sweetish flavor with banana, toffee, clove and some raisins. Medium to full body. Good balance between toffeish maltiness and banana-clove, nice example of a dunkelweizen.

Ungstrup (29081) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 20, 2009
Bottled. An unclear deep red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of wheat and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat, caramel, and bread, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

pivnizub (8731) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - SEP 20, 2007
Bottle (bought at the brasserie): Chestnut-amber coloured, small and stable off-white head, distinctive chocolatey to roast-malty nose with a grainy fruitiness (dry berries also detectable) in the background; solid sweet flavour, medium bodied; dark-malty-chocolatey finish sorrounded by a shy sourish fruitiness. A very malt accented Weizen, a bit like a brown Ale. A goody..........

bottle (Danke pivnizub!). Brown colour, slightly cloudy, large head. Very malty flavour with clear hints of cocoa powder, yeast, roasted malt and banana. Rather sweet and malty and full of flavour. I really enjoyed this!
