Cask at Draft House. Brick red / browny colour, still, almost no head at all. Aroma is malty with a touch of vinegar. Body is medium, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is watery, touch of syrupy toffee sweetness…not much of anything going on here. Very drinkable but lacking flavour.

Cask pint in The Kings Heath Cricket and Sports Club on 16th June 2014. Red hue to the clear, dark amber body on top a thin white head that surprisingly gave off some impressive lacing. Malty brew with a slightly dry finish: pleasant, without setting my taste buds on fire greatly.
