COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled & Cask, regular;
An interpretation of a classic style. It has a pale bronze colour and an exceptionally full-bodied complex character with a spicy and peppery aroma. Generous quantities of premium Cascade, Simcoe, Centennial and Mount Hood hops give this Pale Ale its fragrant bouquet with a fruity, malty and spicy flavour.

Cask, The Pub, Leicester. Golden brown with a thin head. Aromas are apricot with herbal tea and honey. Lemon with biscuit and floral notes. Lightly spicy with caramel. Flavours are caramel with dry biscuit and citrus rind. Honey with grain and nutty lager malts. Lemon with a peppery finish. Decent.

Cask at Three Tuns Dronfield - Lovely crystal clear golden body, thick white top. Nose is lots of rich malt and caramel. Taste is aided by a lovely rounded mouthfeel, leaving a nice warming feeling that you’d expect from a higher ABV. Superb.

Pretty generic pale ale. A little over sweet initially but that settles into a moderate bitterness. Some cereal, light hops. Not bad but unexceptional.

A solid pint. Musky & swirly - lovely crisp accompaniment. Bit expensive for what it is - otherwise a fairly standard pint.

Very fresh cask at Bungalows and bears, Sheffield, UK. Hazy orange copper with small white head. Smell is floral and fruity hoppy with some spicy and berry yeast. Taste is hoppy floral, fruity and grapefruit. Semi fry with low bitterness and low carbonation. A very good hoppy beer when fresh.

Cask at the Oakford Social Club, Reading. Amber with a moderate off-white head. Light pine upfront soon fades, then a slight grapefruit sourness fails to work with the growing fake caramel flavour. Tastes like a very low-grade budget APA. Not great at all, had hoped for better.

Bottle. Courtesy of Button. Cheers kid. Clear amber. Film of white head. Lots of toffee, caramel malts. Some dull, fruity hop. Taste is sweet. Palate is thick. Very little hop character. Label states generous amounts of Cascade, Simcoe, and Centennial have gone into this. You wouldn’t know it, to be honest.

Cask@Westow House, Crystal Palace, London - fuzzy golden amber pour with white head. Aroma and taste is heavy sweet malty, caramel toffee, some orange lemon citrus hoppy notes, bitter finish. Ok.

Cask at the haymarket. Pours hazy gold, thin white head. Aromas of citrus, light pine. Taste is bitter, orange pith. Creamy finish. Decent.

Cask in the South Field, Middlesbrough. Amber with a thin off-white head. Bitter and biscuity. Some citrus. Something tastes a little wrong. I’m not sure if it’s the beer or the condition as i can’t detect any off flavours. May try again some time.
