1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
750ml bottle pours a translucent, muddy brown with some cloudy white head. Nose of dill, celery, pickle juice. Tastes like... pickles, lettuce, cabbage. Medium bodied, pickle finish. Whoa, weird.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle is at least a couple years old.Aroma is fairly fruity with some dark berry and cherry notes as well as dark figs. Light chocolate and toasted bread malt notes with hints of acidity. It smells better than I was expecting based on the previous review with no sign of condiments. Pours a dark murky brown with a very thin light tan head that has surprisingly good retention considering its just a few bubbles from pouring this beer a foot above the glass. Oddly enough, this is also the first beer that hissed when I removed the wax to get to the cap; I don?t think it likes me. Faint lacing and no legs. Flavor has a hint of sweetness that quickly turns acidic. Moderate lactic acidity but also quite a bit of acetic acid. Medium light notes of cherries, berries and figs. Finish does have an odd malt character with a bit of toastiness that doesn?t blend great with the acidity. Lingering fruit, acetic acid and toasted malt. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium low to low carbonation. Moderate acidic astringency with medium low alcohol warmth. Overall about what I was expecting. The aroma was good but the flavor was acetic and the fruit was a bit washed out. I hope my sink is thirsty.

0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
On tap at the brewery. Pours a kind of dingy brown with a khaki head. Aroma is tomatoey and ketchupy, with maybe some mustard sharpness. Seriously may as well be a condiment cocktail. Flavor is the same. Harsh acetic tomato sauce. Jesus. Canít think of any redeeming qualities. Nauseating throughout. This 0.5 is truly deserved.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
2011 Third Release 750 ml. bottle from the brewery. No wax. It pours a decent "fig" color (sort of a dark orange) with a khaki head. The aroma is very interesting with lots of baking spices. Cinnamon and nutmeg stand out with maybe a touch of clove. Fig and bread with a touch of smoke. Not bad so far. The flavor is tart and a bit astringent with background spices, figs and kind of a smoky, funky, sour finish. Tastes a bit dirty and earthy. Iím not 100% sure what this beer is trying to be, but itís not as bad as the other ratings would suggest. I think some people got some bad bottlesÖ The body is just right with perfect carbonation. Actually, I quite like this. Very interesting stuff.

750 ml bottle poured a cloudy amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of berries, straw and light barnyard. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry lightly tart finish. Flavors of berries, straw and light earthiness with a crisp dry lightly tart lingering funky finish.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
750 mL bottle courtesy of nimbleprop. I got a pour from the middle of the bottle and it already looked like mud. Thin off-white head. Decent head retention. Tart aroma with notes of mustard, vegetable and herbal notes, dill particularly. The taste is tart, earthy and spice with that same dill thing going on. Medium bodied. Weird and funky, and not necessarily in a good way. The other ratings are much better, so it looks like we got a bad bottle.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
muddled tan with white wisps after slight gush. Celery and tomato with light caramel and sugar. Flavor is more celery, more lime, light tea and sugar in finish. Mess, reminds of clamato.

1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
750mL red wax thanks to nimbleprop. Muddy amber pour. Bubbles. No head. Tomato celery nose. Lettuce. Taste is drained, minerally, bland. This one was a gusher. Probably infected.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Hazy orange pour with a big white head. The nose is pickles. Pure pickles. The flavor also holds pure pickles. And cabbage. Its like a beer coldcut. Not awful, but not good.
