COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In early July, 2006 in commemoration of our 10th Anniversary, and the brewing of the 100th Batch of beer brewed at our new Pinnacle Peak brewery, Brewmaster Scott Yarosh wanted to do something different. The “Sonoran 100” is a naturally fermented Malt liqueur flavored with Honey and a hint of Maple. After the 9 week fermentation, we aged our “100” for several months before running the whole batch through our custom filter of toasted Maple and Oak wood chips. The result was a Bourbon-like brew that is best served in a small snifter or as a shot on the rocks for those that prefer it chilled. This 19.5 % ABV is the first brew in a continuing series of “Extreme Brews” the Sonoran Brewing Company has planed. Every 100 batches we will brew something wild! Keep an Eye out for It!

Shared by BMan1113VR (what the hell kinda moniker is that!?!?!) at Stone Sour Fest. This dude and this bottle is the reason I like going to these kind of events. Seriously, some swamp-water looking barley-wine concoction in a craft tequila-looking bottle. Almost 20% ABV? At a sour fest? Thanks a lot. I really liked this. Like I said, swamp water hazy brown with a rich, sweet booze nose. Big nose. Smells like a 10 year old barley wine. Tons of flavors going on.

Stratford tasting @ Cletus house. Pours a dark amber body with no carbonation. Vanilla, oak, malty maple, chalky sweetness. Not bad for 19%.

Bottle via a trade with hellbilly, shared at the Stone Sourfest. Pours with a hazy auburn maple body. aroma of smoke, scotch, leather and raisin. Taste is raisin, scotch, leather, maple, oak and rye. Very syrupy mouthfeel. Love the tequila bottle shape, fooled Greg Koch at Stone into thinking it was liquor, before he realized that it was beer.

Bottle shared by Bman111vr at sour fest today. This is a very strange big old brew. Poured reddish with no head. Nose was sweet and very boozy. Taste is sweet sharp and wow a big kick with some interestingness here and there, not amazing but steps above utopias.

Bottle of unknown orgin - Thanks Toby - Pours a flat copper with no head...aroma is chemically dominated, vanilla extract, slight maple and some roast...flavour is similarly odd, thin with no carbonation, boozy roast, vanilla, liquid smoke...consistency of 20%ABV water...only redeamable quality is the sweet bottle...

Needed help. Love this bottle. Poured brown with no head. As it looked in the bottle. Aroma of maple syrup, meat, and booze. Sweet maple flavor upfront with some smoke. Finished with this crazy alcohol burn. Yikes. Wild.

[1968-20090124] 390mL bottle. Smoked ham/bacon and campfire and Christmas Eve dinner aroma. Murky, dark brown amber body with no head. Sweet honeyed ham booze flavour has campfire throughout. Full thick body. Good.
Overheard: "It’s a little pork product." "It was made in Hamel."
(Bottle #788/1000; @ Cole’s; Buffalo, NY)
