3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Citrusy hop aroma. Pale amber color, poor head retention. Sweet malt up front in the flavor, followed by citrusy hops, and a crisp, evenly balanced finish. A very refreshing and well-balanced APA.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Had this on tap at the J.W. Marriot’s Meritage Steakhouse in Phoenix. Nose of detergent, citrus and spruce. This brew is a sparkling honey amber. The white frothy head is mostly lasting with good lacing. The flavor starts sweet and malty. The finish is slighty acidic and moderately bitter, nice complexity and balance. The light to medium body is dry and lively and feels astringent at the finish.

Pretty darn good Pale. Nice hop and malt character. Easy drinking. I like it better than SNPA since thats the one everyone seems to compare to these days for some reason.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours the color of clover honey with a thick white head. Big floral hop nose. Nice malt/hop balance with the hops coming through at the finish. Very nice brew, reminds me of Firestone Walker.A little thin in the palate but still a very nice drinker.

UPDATED: MAY 9, 2003 Amber color with a big white head. A malty sweet start and a tangy hop finish. Did I detect apricots? A quite quaffable APA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Impressive but a bit weird. Has a tangy malt (and/or?) hop presence that I haven’t really encountered before. But it works. A fine APA.

Re-Rate 05/27/02: Clear amber with a nice white head and decent lace. Nose is malt, slight hop floral tones noted. Front sweet, top light, finish loaded with with hops, dry, crisp, and a very drinkable beer.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pale orange/yellow color; Head was average with nice lace; Nose was heavy on the citrus- orange, grapefruit and floral. Citrus dominates the flavors. Nice tartness through out the center of the tongue. The spiciness emerges at the 1/2 mark. A highly drinkable beer of a style I don’t normally get enamored with.
