3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
1 liter, flip top bottle acquired in trade with cbkschubert (thanks!). Cool looking bottle! Poured a medium and clear amber color with a huge sized off white head. Even towards the bottom of this huge bottle, it was pouring all head. The body was slightly fizzy and over carbonated as well. Aromas of citrus, orange peels, trace of caramel, and some floralness. Tastes of caramel, citrus and pine. Definitely on the hoppy side!

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
From a 1L Bottle. Obtained in a trade from footy 4/24/2007. Thanks, Rudy! A 1L bottle? Who puts an APA in 1L bottles? Pours a moderately transparent, golden nectarine color with a tall layer of soapy white head. Big, citrusy cascade nose, full of lemon and light spice. Has a bit of a soapy character to it. Gentle honey malts back. Light bodied, crisply carbonated mouthfeel. Lots of carbonation, which gives it a sizzling refreshing quality. Starts out with a bit of graham cracker maltiness and light honey sweetness. The flavor develops some richer chewy caramels mid-palate before finishing with a clean, grapefruity cascade final smack. The flavors are much more impressive than the nose. Very nice example of an APA; itís like a newer, improved SNPA.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
22oz bottle: A golden amber color with a blossoming head to an initial 3 fingers, settles with lacing that covers the glass all the way down... aromas are subtle but there are some citrus, pine and sweetened malts present... the flavor is like a premium British bitter, and it could easily go that way IMO... with the stronger sweetened malty fruity body and the asparin like bittering from the hops - if I closed my eyes, I’d swear it was an ESB... anyways, this is a nice quaffer with low alchohol and it is easy to session a couple of 22oz’ers in an evening... I’m glad to see these beers in bottles... since I’ve sat at the brewery a couple of times and enjoyed the food and beer... go for it!!

Reviewed 12/21/2008 (bottle):
Pours a very clear filtered amber color body. Small white head. Piney, hoppy aroma, but some sweet hoppiness too. Some alcohol in the nose too. Thin body, dusty bitter chocolate taste. Some hoppiness but mostly bitter. A little sweetness. Somewhat clean aftertaste. Some nuttiness as it warms.

On Tap at brewery; nice bright citrusy nose, beautiful fresh hops all the way; not much malt charactor, but the combination of hops here is very nice, seems like more than just Casacades. Lingering finish that isnít harsh. Good.

Clear copper color pour with a small foamy head that leaves touches of lace. Aroma of citrus and floral hops, some caramel malt, and yeast dough. Flavor is good, though not overly complex. Pretty decent balance of malt and hops. Ovarall a higly drinkable, refreshing brew. Glad to see it in bottles!
