COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cordillera Blanca (kawr-dl-yair-uh) or White Mountains, loosely translated to English, is the newest additions to the Sonoran Brewing line of products. This White Chocolate Ale is light, refreshing, and completely unique! Like most fine chocolates, this brew has delicate aroma and the subtle taste of White Chocolate that is truly astonishing!

Bottle thanks to somebody, rating from my backlog. The smell is white chocolate, weird, butter, sweet, and cocoa. The look is golden in color, thin white head, and clear. The taste is sweet, chocolate, weird, vanilla, and cream.

Bottle:   Pale straw, lively carbonation, large sudsy white head, spotty lacing.   Mealy nose, faint hazelnut.   Very airy on the tongue.   Minor mocha latte with hazelnuts.   BURP!   Seems overcarbonated.   White Chocolate?   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   All the sweetness seems artificial.   Seems like a watered down froo froo coffee, with hazelnuts.   Tastes better than it smells.   Also seems like it could be really poor white chocolate that has been uncovered in the cupboard for a few years.   Sort of a stale white chocolate background. Meh...

On tap and CB&CB. Pours golden hazy golden with eggshell white head. Smell like white chocolate macadamia nut cookie with sweet malts, and butter. Taste is sweet white chocolate and vanilla. Medium body and thin finish. This is a dessert beer. Okay but very different.

On tap / Growler from BevMo!, as "White Chocolate Ale". Served cold. Aroma: Wow there actually is a pretty rich white chocolate aroma going on here. Quite pleasant, and quite unique! Appearance: Kind of a hazy, translucent, light gold. No head. Not a very handsome ale. Taste: Well Iíll be damned if that isnít the most white chocolate-y thing Iíve ever had that wasnít white chocolate. Really quite good. Palate: Unfortunately, the great white chocolate flavor comes in a beer that feels watery. Really watery. Overall: Iím conflicted here. This brew delivers the white chocolate, and delivers it well. However, itís ugly to look at, and the texture isnít rich or creamy and definitely distracts from the great flavor and aroma.

Tap at OHSO nano. Clear gold pour. Rich cocoa butter nose, milk chocolate, macadamia nut cookie. Taste is richer milk chocolate, some red apple. Heavy body for abv. Quite dessert heavy with white chocolate, vanilla, walnut praline. White Toblerone the beer. Yummy.

Bottle received in trade from EyePeeAyBryan, thanks for the opportunity! Pours a fairly clear medium straw with a huge fluffy white head that fills half the glass amd takes forever to recede. Serious over carbonation from this bottle and it was opened at fridge temp. After everything settles down the aroma is lightly spicy with some light sweet males and a subtle but present chocolate aroma. The flavor is a mildly sugary sweet with a bit of sharp spice and a mild chocolate flavor. Medium body with an asinine level of carbonation and a sweet bubbly mouthfeel. Decent brew once everything settles down, not horribly complex, but a nice drinker.
