COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cordillera Blanca (kawr-dl-yair-uh) or White Mountains, loosely translated to English, is the newest additions to the Sonoran Brewing line of products. This White Chocolate Ale is light, refreshing, and completely unique! Like most fine chocolates, this brew has delicate aroma and the subtle taste of White Chocolate that is truly astonishing!

22 oz bottle. Pours golden yellow with no head. Sticky sweet chocolate aromas. An odd beer, yet creative, but this one doesnít work for me.

Holy crap weird. When bartender poured thought taps messed up. Looks like crappy pale lager but smells like white chocolate. Tastes of white chocolate, herbal, weird medicine, and rubbing alcohol. Not my thing but way to think outside box

Thanks Dakine! Pale cloudy yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is a "chemical" white chocolate. Taste is wheat beer with a medicine flavoring. dry. Nice lacing.

Tap @ O.H.S.O. Pours a clear yellow appearance with a white head. The Fucken thing does smell like white chocolate along with some herbal notes. Thatís fucken weird. Weird sweet pale malty flavor with a blast of white chocolate. Not sure I like but it comes as advertised.

Pint on tap. It points for creativity...but itís definitely NOT subtle. Iím not really a fan of "chocolate" beers anyway, but this one is especially gimicky to me. Itís got pretty light body, and doesnít look or smell offensive, but I just donít like the taste.

Thanks ratebeef! Pours a clear golden yellow from the bottle with thin white head and light lacing. Aroma of sweet chocolate and thats about it. Taste is same, heavy on the processed chocolate. Not exactly what Iím looking for in a beer.

Thanks ratebeef! Clear golden pour with a small bubbly white head that fades fast. Nose is vanilla beans, chocolate chips and cake batter. Fuck yeah it's my birthday. Flavor is very similar but not as bright as the aroma and sort of a thin palate. Can definitely pick out the pale malts in this beer. Pretty interesting though and glad to have tried it.

Thanks ratebeef. Pale clear no head wtf the smells like chocolate but its not dark. Cake batter. Chocolate up front followed a grain with a lingering chocolate. Bonus points for being unique and surprising but I wouldnít drink this everyday.

4oz taster 12/29/12 (Copper Blues-PHX)-Pours a slightly hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, and sweetness. Taste of chocolate, vanilla, and chocolate. This light bodied brew is well balanced and quite tasty. Nice brew.

Surprisingly pretty good. Very well pronounced white chocolate taste, which somehow actually works with the beer. More of a novelty than anything else, but I would rate it higher than Rogueís "donut beers." Again, though, I think Sonoran missed its opportunity by not making this a stout.
