3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(22oz bottle thanks to jkwalking05) clear pale yellow with nice thick ring of bubbles. Nose of white chocolate and butterscotch. Taste of white chocolate, kaopectate (a chalky, gritty diarrhea medicine for those who don’t remember), milk of magnesia, medicinal with lightly carbonated body. What a weird beer.

Bottle thanks to jkwalking05. Pours with a large white head over a hazed golden body. Aroma of milk chocolate, vanilla bean and cocoa. Taste is cream soda, lots of vanilla bean and some cola notes. Lively bubbles. Interesting!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle that I brought to the Rosso release at Captain Lawrence. Pours a hazy gold with a thin to medium sized white head. Smells almost exactly like peanut M&Ms. Medium bodied, sweet and with a light faint tartness. Candy and milk chocolate. A little bit sour and tart on the finish. Yummy and tangy. I really liked this one and was quite surprised at how good it was.

Draft. Golden-amber beer with a whitish head. White chocolate aroma with malt. Orange and white chocolate flavor with malt. Medium bodied. orange and white chocolate lingers with a bit of malt (and possibly wheat). Different, but gets a bit tiring.

Bottle; interesting concept. Poured a little lighter than expected; a dull, honey gold with a big frothy head. Aroma of white chocolate, vegetables, must, herbs/spice, with a yeastiness that reminded me of the Bruery. Sort of lukewarm on the flavor. It was solid and interesting, but not bursting with flavor. Definitely pick up some chocolatey elements; hints of vegetable and yeast. Some sugariness. Aftertaste probably was the nicest element. Happy to have tried this.

How does white chocolate mix with beer? Interesting concept, which I think Sonoran’s version of Southern Tier Creme Brulee. Unfortunately this attempt falls a little short.
pours golden, white head.
aroma, definitely has some white chocolate in there although sparse and really makes the highlight of this beer.
flavors, weak chocolate palate, some lactic notes coupled with a citrus hops mouthfeel that takes away a lot of the chocolate aspect of the beer, turning everything in an overly citrusy melange.
Enjoyed the chocolate aspect, but over done on the hop side especially when this beer only boast a mere 4.7%

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On draft at the Yardhouse in Phoenix just before a red eye home. Pour was orangey-yellow, full white colored head with decent lacing. The aroma was strong banana, fruity esters, oranges, strong white-chocolate-coconutty type aroma. The flavor was full orangey hefe-banana type elements, ridiculously overly coconutted white chocolate flavors, much more the former than the latter - like coconut milk in this thing!. Sweetness accompanied by some spices, as this thing would be described by me as a coconut white ale more than anything else. Not great but interesting for a few sips anyway.

A: Pours a nice pale yellow hue tall fizzy head. Little retention and lace.
S: White chocolate for sure. Real not extract either. Light wheat notes round things out.
T: White chocolate extract, light vanilla, wheaty grain, and citrus, and a hint of tartness.
M: Light fizzy hefe like.
D: It’s kind of all over the place. I like the vanilla, wheat, and extract. The citrus takes it into left field.

White chocolate in a hefeweizen, experienced at The Yard House, Scottsdale as not on at the Pinnacle showcase restauraunt for Sonoran. Better than described. I liked the white chocolate flavour, it came through. Why in a hefe? I don’t know, but places about town were putting various flavours in their hefe, Phoenix’s idea of extreme beer. The aroma of the sweet white chocolate. Not super drinkable, a sipper. Some lace. Looks like a hefe.
