COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cordillera Blanca (kawr-dl-yair-uh) or White Mountains, loosely translated to English, is the newest additions to the Sonoran Brewing line of products. This White Chocolate Ale is light, refreshing, and completely unique! Like most fine chocolates, this brew has delicate aroma and the subtle taste of White Chocolate that is truly astonishing!

Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Aroma and flavor of bitter fruits and citrus and a bit watery. not a bad beer but I expected alot more and whoever says they taste white chocolate is nuts. I’ll keep the bottle though...almost the best part of the package.

Strange brew. On tap at Boulders. Pours a hazy golden color with a trim white head. Smells and tastes of white chocolate, vanilla yogurt, and pear. More of a novelty than a balanced beer, but certainly worth a try.

Thanks to Beerlando for the taste, by way of FlacoAlto. Slightly cloudy, orange-tinged yellow color. Full of lemons with just a hint of chocolate flavor. Lots of bubbly carbonation round out this tasty brew.

Wow, how can the aroma be anything but a 10? White chocolate, burnt sugar, and vanilla eminate. Golden color with milky white foam that leaves nice lacing. Taste matches the aroma with residual sweetness and a touch of caramel. Some hop bitterness shows up, but long after the beer is gone. Funny thing is, despite it being very close to white chocolate in both taste and aroma, I don’t think I would buy again. Just a curiosity.

Pours to a clear pale yellow straw colored body with a medium, frothy white head. The aroma shows white chocolate, light roasted cocoa beans, light sweet pale malt. Taste shows a dry white chocolate, light burnt cocoa beans, hints of vanilla and sweet sugar. I’m surprised by how nicely the white chocolate flavor comes through in the flavor - not at all overwhelmed by any hops or malt flavors. Light bodied, crisp carbonation, finishes with some extended white chocolate and dry cocoa notes. Very nice; would go well as a desert beer.

Pours a light yellow color with a distinct malt white chocolate malt aroma. Taste is similar, white chocolate malt flavor with a slight carbonated aftertaste. A little thin beer, but different.

Bottle to pint glass White chocolate, orange, malt, corn(?). Hazy amber, but that’s after the head settled. Initially this was all head. Truthfully, it was completely head when poured. Taste is orange, and something akin to nutmeg, but not as strong and then a touch of chocolate.

Pours an orange golden into pint serving. Tastes and smells like those odd white chocolate chips from Nestle with just enough vegetation, caramel and wheat off to the side to balance it somehow.

Tap at Boulders in Tempe. Such a strange brew. Nose of concentrated and natural white chocolate powder. A slightly cloudy beer like a Tripel. Taste of the same and sweet yogurt. Really something. The texture isn’t something I have experienced in a beer this light in color.

puch in phx; this is one unique beer. bottle stated white chocolate ale. about the most accurate/unique aroma ever - it was white chocolate!! not sure how they did it. taste was good and had the white chocolate subtle taste. this would be best as a taster or 12 ozer; this was a bomber and by end, the white chocolate got to be too sweet, but tasty and a very unique beer!
