Commercial Description:
Double Trouble is a double or imperial IPA, with a clean malt bill and big hop flavor using whole cascade and simcoe hops both in the hopback and dry hopped. The beer deceives the drinker as it is more potent than it tastes! It is our most popular seasonal brew to-date.

Sampled at Strong beer fest.Mesa, AZ. Good dose of citrus hops on the nose. Glod body with white head. Dry citrus grapefruit peel flavor and some dry bitterness. Good double ipa. Will have to rerate this one sometime with full pint.

Mostly translucent, some yeasties, with oily webs cast over the top. Greased nose of tangerines and simcoe trademarks jump out of the gates. Some butter comb and toasted grain combinations provide a golden aromatic backbone for the beer. Hints of strawberry spruce intercede with welcomed interruption. Dry, bitter cotton edges with some peachy flavorings to provide a sweetness. Kiwi strawberry comes out more as it calms in the glass and in the mouth, especially as the tongue presses to the roof of the mouth and refuses to let the last of the sip drip down the back. Some butter and grease come through with the bitter patters is the finish, taking us through the multifaceted flavor approach that was a pleasurable palate adaptation throughout.

Bomber. Thanks Chris. The beer pours to a nice glowing golden body with a really creamy white head and nice lacing. The aroma is really good. Pineapple, mango, light spicy onions, citrus. The flavor is extremely hoppy up front and has a nice toasty back end. Grassy and piney hops, fruity, spruce. The palate is bitter and medium bodied.

Brew pours an iridescent gold color w/ a medium, semi creamy froth. Residual lacing is thin w/ a full canopy. Aroma is thick and creamy w/ dense caramel hops. Nice! Full nectar w/ creamy, residual effers. Big hops, big caramel malts, perfect balance. Very little grapefruit, mostly rind. I drink this brew in hopes of it never ending. It’s so lucious. It has everything in the right place in the right amounts. The finish is long and perfectly bittered by the citrus rind element. I just savor this brew. This is in my top two list. I actually want to say so much more about this brew. Like how it reminds me a certain part of a womans anatomy. But I have this overwhelming felling I’m being watched. I highly recommend this brew. I can’t wait til in on the retail market.
