| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 19, 2004 Pours an amber color with a rocky white head. Aroma is that of fresh cascade hops and lots of interesting tropical fruits. Flavor is very hoppy to start then becomes more sweet with dried fruit flavors that is mainly that of prunes and apricots. Body is excellently syrupy but with a dry finish that is quite cleansing. An intersting beer. SDbruboy (1833), San Diego, California, USA

Pours medium amber, with a small white head that diminished to a ring of bubbles and left nice lacing. Bold, hoppy aroma with lots of sweet toasted malts, citrus and pine. Flavor with lots of the same and a nice lingering hoppy finish. Nice mouthfeel, medium body with moderate carbonation. Nice ale - another good, bold brew from Sonora. Flavor starts off apricot sweet then some citrus and a hint of pine and finishes kinda dry. It's a quaffer. Kasteelfreak (341), Fallbrook, California, USA
