COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA has lots of malt and hop character. This style originated in the 1700’s as a strong, flavorful ale, which was able to survive the ocean voyage from England to India during the British occupation.

The hops came right at me but finished with a nice maltiness. Good balance. One of my favorite IPAs so far.

Had this from the cask at Papago Brewing. One of the best IPAs I’ve had. Citrussy, flowery aroma of american hops. Excellent balance of malt sweetness with hop bitterness and flavor. One of my favorite beers.

UPDATED: AUG 21, 2007 Originally reviewed back on 4/6/04. Received 4.45 score. Added to my RB list to check "Arizona" as a beer state consumed. Looks fabulous with a head that won’t quit. Aromas are quite hoppy with both juicy and earthy hops splashing about. Ample malt base. Feels great on the palate. Quite a good drinker.

Orange color with a large white creamy head. The aroma was full of hops, but not bitter...tons of sweet peaches, flowers, and pine trees. The flavor was sweet...pine, peach/apricot, slightly bitter, slightly acidic. I thought the feel was a little too wet for this kind of beer..a drier, crisper feel might have made this beer incredible. Very impressive IPA. I've never had one quite like this. Very very good.

Pale copper color; Thick head with a ’pancake’ surface; Aroma was mild and bready. Dry, tart across the tongue. Very nice floral character. One of the subtlest and nicest IPA’s that I have ever had. Wonderful balance. Well Done!!

Really good. I got a lot of hop flavor and hop aroma. Malty flavor, too.

A big fluffy white head. Pale copper color. Rich, tart nicely hopped. Very enticing beer from the label to the palate. Superb, gives Stone IPA a run for their money.
