Sep 28, 2009 12oz bottle. Poured a deep copper color with a reddish tint and thick tan head. Plain toasted malt aroma. Flavor is sweet roasted malts, nuttiness and slight mild hops. Very mild and plain.

Sep 1, 2002 Re-Rate 09/1/02: Deep garnet in color, the head is generous and beige, lots of lace. Nose is malt, nut sweet, as is the start. The middle of the beer is light, the finish is acidic, dry, lightly hopped and a decent but not great beer. Ranks #913 on my master beer list.
