The Grand Cru was intended to be SBC’s finest product, and it is an instant favorite of many, including non-beer drinkers. It’s a Belgian Witbier spiked with 50 pounds of honey. Bittered just slightly with German Hallertau hops to balance the flavor, we use hand-crushed coriander and the orange peel that makes this style the classic that it is. Enough said!

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of wheat with a bit of citrus peel and coriander as well as a touch of Belgian yeast. Flavor combines sweet wheat and coriander.

Flight 7/31/14 (Brewery)-Pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, and spices. Taste of the same. This light bodied brew is a bit basic and lacking.
