4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On cask at the New Hope, PA brewpub. Arrived a cloudy golden amber with a moderate fairly creamy white head that lasted through the first half of the glass laced the glass well. Mild aroma of what I think is sage along with some malt. Fairly indistinct. The flavor is dramatically different. Exquisite actually with ample malt, fresh bread and sage. Smooth and silky mouthfeel. Very enjoyable ale!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask at the New Hope Brewpub. Pours a hazy brown with some tan bubbles. Smells of pronounced sage, some earthy hints, some sweet undertones. Tastes sagey with a nice earthy bite and a spicy finish. The sage added to this beer make it a standout.
