Aroma: roasted notes, maltiness. Appearance: dark brown color, weak beige head. Appearance: roasted malts, caramel, sweetness. Palate: medium body, medium carbonation, roasted finish. Overall: Nice schwarzbier with acceptable taste. There is nothing special, but still it is not a bad beer.

Pleasant aroma of roasted malts. Small but quite durable head. Dark brown clear body. Not too overwhelming sweetness in taste with good amount of roasted bitterness. Pleasant and drinkable.

Cola-like color, some foam. Aroma has some roasted malt. Taste is sweet, bit roasted and bitter, but also light, metallic and watery. Not much to say about this one.

Zarkam (401) - Helsinki, FINLAND - NOV 5, 2013
500ml bottle from Budapest, dark reddish brown clear colour, large mostly lasting off-white frothy head, good lacing. Moderate roasted malt aroma with mild coffee and caramel notes, light to moderate resiny hops, and a hint of charcoal. Moderate acidic taste initially turning to a moderately bitter finish with a chalky feel, medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation. Decent dark lager with an excellent price/quality ratio.
