2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled. Deep brown colour, close to black, with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is mild toasted malts, ashes, some toffee and mild chocolaty notes. Flavour is quite similar with a mild metallic tone to it. Surprisingly good compared to my expectations.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled. Clear dark nut brown. Heavily caramely nose. Sweet with full roasty maltiness and hard clean mouthfeel, notes of chocolate. It’s all about caramel. Low bitterness. With more character than most regular Hungarian beers it appears to be a weaker clone Dreher Bak.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It’s a clear, dark chestnut colored beer with a beige head. The aroma has a caramel maltyness with some nutty notes. Sweet, roasted flavor with some fruity notes. Medium body, smooth and a bit dead on the palate. The finish is mostly the same, lightly roasted and quite dry. Not bad, better than expected from an Hungarian beer. 110129

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, 5.2%. OK roasted, sweet caramelly aroma. Clear dark brown colour. Light brown head. Mild caramelly flavour. Slightly watery at first but turns nicely caramelly. Finishes with a creamy and smoky touch which rounds off the beer nicely.
