0,5l can. Black color. Aroma is caramel and malt. Taste is roasted malt, caramel and hint of coffee. Overall it’s very nice and drinkable beer.

Average frothy light brown head. Translucent thin dark brown body. Md. Aroma: chocolate, moderate malt, coffee. If: moderate sweet. Ff: moderate sweet light bitter; average duration. 500ml can from somewhere in Budapest. Pours a mostly clear, very deep brown colored body with some reddish hues. Inch thick, foamy and frothy, tan head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is somewhat sweet caramel malts with a bit of a graininess, touches of roast, and a few dark fruit notes. Flavor is similar. Slightly sweet and grainy caramels with some roast and dark fruit notes throughout. A bit bready with maybe a touch of cocoa before this finishes dry, somewhat roasty, and very lightly bitter with some sweetness to balance. Medium length aftertaste following a medium body and a moderately active carbonation. Overall, a decent dunkel. Nothing special, but well balanced with a bit of a roast and dark fruit note. Not bad.

Strong smell of roasted malt, roasted malt flavor is also a bit of caramel undertones, discret hops.
Slightly dry bitter aftertaste.
Not bad beer, but the bottom of the category average.

Draught at BEM Etterem es Sorozo, Budapest, Hungary. Poured a dark colour with a red tint. One-finger beige foamy head that retained well. Laced OK. No carbonation. Aroma of sweet malt caramels. Taste of sweet malt and roasted grain. Medium body. Short slightly roasted grain finish.

UPDATED: MAR 15, 2013 Pours dark brown, with short lasting head. Tastes sweet malty with fruit notes. Soft carbonation and light dry finish.

dark, coffee-like appearance, brownish head;aroma and taste of roasted sugar...too roasted...rather burnt sugar than roasted one! this smoky taste absolutely ruins the experience.

My favorite hungary beer. Beautiful dark brown color. It has full taste of malt, toffee and little chocolate. Very good beer.

0.5l bottle. Black body, light brown head. Aroma of caramel with some roastyness. The flavor is like the aroma. Caramel with a minimal roastyness and some dark fruityness. Nice session beer.
