1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20 Impavidus (62) - Budapest, HUNGARY - APR 21, 2013
bottle Reddish-black, small reddish-brown foam. Strong artificial plum aroma. Overdosed sweet flavor, medium carbonated syrupy body.
Destroyed the basic Demon line. Not good.
Worse than the Meggy Demon.

0,5l can. This beer has artificial aroma and taste, and it is not so drinkable. Aroma is mostly plum, and taste is strange. Overall, it is not good.

500ml bottle. Absolute artificial, it’s never seen plum or good beer ingredients. By the way, the artificial aroma is stronger than natural, so smell is good (for me), but taste is very bad, beside some smoke. Foam is little, CO2 is fizzy. Not good at all.
1.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 Lore (426) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JAN 4, 2013
UPDATED: JAN 25, 2013 the appearance is quite great: brownish, dark colour, medium, though quickly collapsing head; the aroma is also acceptable: dominated by plum - it’s ok so far (though not as good as the plum beer of Békésszentandrási brewery, but ok); regarding the taste...well it was a mistake to taste it, it would have been much better just to see it and enjoy the appearance...it is horrible! the artificial fruity aroma (which is not really plum...it’s just typical artificial fruitness) unfortunately not absolutely dominates the taste, therefore a disgusting metallic bitter aftertaste can be felt for minutes (which seems an eternity in this special case). this thing is very far from ’drinkable’ category...and what’s more! it has the same price as staropramen lezak, or an Edelweiss Heffeweissbier! it was a huge mistake to buy it!
1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 hetyu (115) - HUNGARY - DEC 30, 2012
Bottle - Pours deep beige, nearly black. Artificial for the nose and in taste as well. This a syrup and not really a beer.

0,5 l bottle, Tesco, because of curiosity.
Poured deep brown with a small lacing tan head. Chemical plum aroma. Discusting and unbalanced, roasted character, bad artifical taste. Brrr, this is terrible. Absolutly wrong way of develop
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 heavy (1956) - Split, CROATIA - DEC 29, 2012
26/12 A 0.5 l bottle ogivlado gave away, thanks! It poured clear dark brown body with medium sized ocher head. Aroma of dried plums and some booze, could be brandy. Flavor was slightly bitter, fine dried plums with sweet malts, messed up with coffee, herbal and some spicy dry notes. Medium in body with long, correct caramel, dried plums and coffee finish. The thing was saved with the aftertaste, however it’s was hard going and not really likable.
2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Marko (3614) - Split, CROATIA - DEC 28, 2012
Thanks to ogivlado for bringing this from Hungary and sharing with us! Poured a red/black body with a slightly off white nice head. Sweet plummy nose, slightly slivovitz-like, light... alcohol? or is it just the plums that invoke such thoughts. Dunno. Anyway, sweet and kinda nice. The taste, however, is a mess - a light roastiness battling with slightly overly sweet plum notes, some bitterness shows up and doesn’t help. Smells much nicer than it tastes. Didn’t expect it to be any good, ended up being slightly better than expected, and still not good.

Can from supermarket in Rajka, shared with Gurthnar. Cola briown color with huge beige head. Aroma of plum brandy and vanilla. Taste, plum jam, vanilla, roasted malt, caramel. Surprisingly drinkable beer.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Gurthnar (606) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - DEC 15, 2012
Can shared with Cuso, thanks! Aroma is plum, cinnammon, plum liquor. A bit like cola. Vanilla appears later. Coca-cola colour, brown short lasting head. Taste is better than expected. Definitely sweet, plum and vanilla, christmas spices, even a bit caramel and roasted malt, when you try hard. Light sourness in finish, otherwise same as taste. Sticky mouthfeel. Bonus point for beeing a good fruit beer.
