Medium brown head. Slightly hazy brown body with light carbonation. Spicy gingery aroma with dusty raisiny notes. Dry-sweet raisiny gingery taste with spicy mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Slightly hot, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish resiny gingery aftertaste with wooden earthy spicy notes. Nice, drinkable, subtle, and full of flavour. A harmonic and interesting beer. (0.5l bottle, from Kezmuves Csemege, Budapest. Same name, but bottle says 12 degrees Balling and 4.7% ABV.)

50cl bottle scares me upon the pour; clear amber with ero head. Looks like root beer. Smells odd too, ginger, caraway, honey, malt, cracker, some herbs, a little butter scotch. While this is a bit of a head scratcher, the flavor is similar but it all works together. Favors of honey, rye, caraway, wheat chaff, straw, ginger, slightly medicinal. Sounds odd, and it is, but it all works well together. Thin finish.

Bottle from the tiny but well-formed Liquid Drink Bar, Budapest. Pours a promising dark copper colour but with non-existent head. Immediate gingerbread aroma while its taste adds orange, shortbread & honey to the mix. Its an original blend by Hungarian standards but not overpowering. By no means a bad beer, but could do with a little work.

Sötét borostyán színű, enyhén opálos sör, kevés habbal. Illata kissé visszafogott,gyümölcsös-narancsos.Izében kifejezettebb narancsos-gyömbéres jelleg; savanykás. Közepesen hosszú lecsengés, enyhe komlós keserűséggel.

On tap @ Tonique Bár, Debrecen. A dark-amber coloured beer with a thin off-white head. Not an intensive aroma with notes of orange, honey and malt. Sweet-sour taste and there’s no sign of hoppy bitterness. But notes of orange and ginger. Good carbonation with a medium body.

300ml draught at Cheers Drinkbar. A ginger beer that pours an unclear, amber-red body and quickly diminishing off-white head. Smell of ginger and dry fruits. Ginger added by apricot and citrus in flavour. Ginger bitterness to the ending. Not bad, not great (Budapest, 31.07.2012).

Tried the draught version. Aroma of ginger with a thin maltyness. Taste reflects the aroma. Lots of ginger and some sweetness. Easy drinking beer.
