imdownthepub (4224), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Dec 27, 2007 Bottled, 330ml, aged 2.5yrs. From Bieres et Biers, Thaons les Vosges, France. Clear amber with white head. A nice surprise this, fruity and herby by equal measure, could have sworn there was Thyme in there somewhere. Some caramel sweetness and a smooth port like alcohol. The ageing has worked nicely with this. joergen (6797), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 7, 2005 Bottled.
Hazy orange coloured with a small off white head.
Aroma of malts, fruits and spices.
Flavour of herbs, fruits and corn with hoppy notes. Papsoe (11030), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 3, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Hazy amber with a fine, creamy head. Malty, slightly perfumy aroma. Spicy, complex flavour with a caramelish sweetness. Very pleasant. 011005 Dixen (1465), Copenhagen, Denmark Oct 2, 2005 Sweet aroma, with some yeasty notes and hints of spices. Hazy orange colored bodt, small white head. Fruity and quite sweet flavor. Jeppe (2636), Ølbutikken, Denmark Apr 19, 2005 An ugly muddy yellow colored beer with a foamy disappearing white head. Herb and citrus aroma with an infected tone. Thin and watery flavor with a bad herby and malty note.
