moderately sweet malty caramel milk chocolate very yeasty, very smooth. Heavy wonderful

Draught at Devils Craft, Tokyo - RBJG#2. Unclear brown - offwhite head. Nice hoppy, citrus, roasted, fruity, banana, ok bitterness, oiley, phenolic, dried fruits. OK.

Serving: from bottle--purchased at Sound Brewery. Aroma: moderate apple aroma. Appearance: very small, light-brown, initial head that disappeared in seconds. Fully diminishing longevity and fair lacing. Hazy, dark-orange body. Taste: moderately sweet, cherry-like initial flavor, and moderately sour finish with average duration. Palate: medium bodied with oily texture and soft carbonation. Overall: good.

22 oz. bottle- Pours very dark ruby red with a thin tan head that reduces to a collar. Aroma is caramel malts, sweet, some hops. The taste is the same, light caramel malts and hops imparting a dryness in the finish. Body is medium to light and carbonation is somewhat high. This was good, not great, I actually liked that it was a lighter body, not so thick caramel malty, but nothing special here.

Pretty straight forward dubbel imitation. Dried dark fruit, a hint of chocolate and some esters. Solid.

Tap at Devil Craft, Tokyo. Brown colour with a white head. Aroma of alcohol, dark fruits. Flavour matches the aroma, alcohol, dark fruits, but unfortunately not as good.

Draft. Hazy deep amber color, tan head. Aroma of dark fruit. Taste is cocoa and fruit. Alcohol shows, otherwise decent enough.

deep brown with ruby highlights, cream head. chewy chocolate, syrup, and light alcohol. smooth on the palate, chocolate, rich malts, alcohol, and a fruity finish.

Draught at Kamikaze. Deep nose, chocolate, berries, raisin; rich, fruity, and malty. A good orthodox dubbel nose. Orange-brown with lace. Rich malty flavor, not too sweet. Great chocolate fudge and dried fruits. Light, soft carbonation. Very nice.

pours a semi-cloudy burgundy with a small tan head that dissipates quickly, and good lacing. smell is of some dark fruits, malt, cherry, plum, and a few hops. taste is smooth, plums & other fruits, a touch of spice, and a touch of caramel. ends smooth.
