4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating but was purchased recently. Pours lightly hazy orange amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings to the glass. Aromas of huge mango, orange, grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine, passion fruit, caramel, floral, and light herbal. Fantastic aromas with huge tropical fruit notes; it is unlike any other DIPA I have had in the past. Big hop sweetness; but it is so inviting even without the pine resin I am so used to having in an IPA. Taste of big orange, pineapple, mango, caramel, pine, grapefruit, passion fruit, tangerine, orange rind, floral, honey, and herbal spiciness. Nice amount of spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tropical fruits, citrus, citrus rind, pine, caramel, floral, herbal, and grass on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic hop complexity and malt balance; zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a fairly creamy, slick, and crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic DIPA. Huge hop complexity and balance; very smooth and easy to sip on. This was truly unique as a DIPA, and highly enjoyable.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Hazy orange color out of the bottle with a creamy cream colored head that left attractive sticky lacing on the glass. Nose of tropical fruit and candied citrus. This is a nice, chewy IIPA with a syrupy mouth feel. Toffee and caramel sweetness with dried tropical fruit, candied grapefruit rind and a bit of pine in the finish. Nice warming alcohol in the finish.

Bottle (22oz): Dark orange with off white head. I do not taste the tropical fruit others do. I taste the pine and a little bit of a metallic finish. It is very good, but not sure if it will be a regular purchase. Can not find a bottled on date but I had it less than 1 month.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Man this is good. Hazy orange/amber pour with a foamy off-white head. Delicious aroma of mangos and citrus fruits. Flavour of pine, citrus fruit, resin, hops, etc. Delicious and incredibly well balanced. My only (slightly) negative comment would be that this is much less bitter than the typical DIPA.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On Tap at the Poulsbo tasting room Slightly hazy deep golden. Nice off white head. BIG resinous hop aroma and lots of sticy juicy hop flavors. Plenty of residual sugars but are balanced nicely with plenty of tasty IBUS. The high rating is well deserved. Very nice. This and the Belgian Blonde are the best here.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
No head, nice palate. Smooth hop bitterness, hints of lemon grass and metal, but not much else going on. Nothing special for a double.

A great double IPA. Lots of sweet malt and corn syrup on the nose. Malts and spicy hops on the tongue. This is delicious.

On tap at barley bros winnipeg. Piney aroma. Taste is quite sweet and malty but with a nice hoppy backbone. Borders on a banana Belgian sweetness but with hops. Like this a lot.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap @ Chuck’s 85th. Pours bright deep orange copper with thin lacy white head. Aroma is big sweet caramel malt and huge floral, piney, bitter hops. Taste is similar: malt is sweet, big, and dry. Hops cut the sweetness perfectly with heavy bitterness that lingers through the finish. Nice notes of pine and grapefruit jump out. Quite nice DIPA, no obvious flaws.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
"Not sure of the age on the bottle, though it seemed relatively fresh. Juuuust a touch more malt heavy than I’d prefer, but the tropical fruitiness in the hop profile was very very pleasant and made for a nice bittersweet tsating experience."
