brilliant copper kettle orange color with ivory sheen. Nice banana, honey, dry hay, earthy hop aromas. Light to medium body. Lightly dry banana chip, grainy pale malt, herbal, spicy yeast flavors--good belgian style.

Grainy biscuity malt nose, yeast phenols - banana and light peppery notes. Pours golden, thin head. The flavor is more grainy malt, dry, peppery, light yeasty spice and pepper. Easy drinking, dry, ok.

(22oz bomber thanks to bu11zeye) clearish gold, few bubbles. Nose of Belgian yeast, spicy, golden raisin, white pepper, dry chalky. Taste of umami, Belgian yeast, very dry, very lightly sweet, weird, highly carbonated.

Crisp copper coloured body with a very thin off-white head. Aroma of pale malt, yeast, bread, pepper, bubble gum and a hint of curacao. Light-bodied; Pungent yeast flavour up front with a definite belgie characteristic, some lighter malt notes, a hint of earthy hops and a little toffee sweetness. Aftertaste shows mainly malt flavours with a hint of earth, some very light sugars and at the tail end - a little of the complex belgian yeast strain, but not enough to rescue the beer. Overall, a below par offering with some good thoughts, just not well executed. Still, nice to sample this beer that Id never find on the East Coast, but wish I would have packed something better in my bag across the country. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Pear Delicatessen in Seattle, Washington on 11-February-2013 for US$3.83 sampled at home in [the real] Washington on 21-March-2013.

22 ounce bottle. Pours a light copper with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, fruit, spice, and hops. Taste is malt, bananas, cloves, yeast, and grass. Decent but not too exciting.

Light bronze with a frothy, thin cover. Wonderful pepper yeast aroma accompanied by subdued banana. Green banana and watered down peppery yeast flavor. Interesting enough to be enjoyable from start to finish.

22 oz bomber courtesy of bvc. The pour is a lightly hazed orange copper with a one inch egg white head that falls with nice lacing. The aroma is herbal honey sweetness, grass, along with a light clove over-ripe fruit as well. The taste is big herbal right away, turning to the clove ester fruit yeast, and finishing with grassy toasty malt sweetness. Flavors are all pretty assertive, though do meld decently, creating a full, interesting flavor. The palate is medium bodied, spritzy fine natural carbonation and a bit of a thinner finish. Overall, interesting beer - thanks for sending my way Brandon.
