Belgian Style Pale Ale: Soft Biscuity malts and fruity esters are well balanced with the finest Slovenian Styrian Goldings hops, making for a refreshing, easy drinking copper colored ale. In a goblet or pint, spend some time appreciating the aroma before you take that first sip. Admire the creamy head that forms, then indulge yourself in a continental pale ale previously only served this fresh on draft in Belgium.

Grainy biscuity malt nose, yeast phenols - banana and light peppery notes. Pours golden, thin head. The flavor is more grainy malt, dry, peppery, light yeasty spice and pepper. Easy drinking, dry, ok.

Bomber. Pale copper colored in appearance with a half-inch of sudsy foam. Aroma is predominately toasted malt notes and toffee with some grassy hops at the end. The flavor has more of a Belgian yeast influence that blends bready malts, caramel and clove with a bit of tart fruit and earthy hops in the background. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied and adequately carbonated with a mildly creamy texture and dry, spicy finish. Pretty decent BPA that makes for a nice change of pace from the hoppy Pale Ales that dominate the Pacific Northwest.

First beer from Sound Brewery, Pours a dark orange color. Aroma is just slightly fruity. Taste is crisp with some vanilla notes to it. Has a bit of wheat in the back as well. And one of the prettiest labels around too boot.

Draft at Naked City. Pours a deep darker lightly clouded golden with a even tight white head that leaves a bit of lacing. Good amount of bubble gum esters with strong amount of banana. Sweet hay and wheat as well very light clove and some white pepper. Quick sweetness up front, moves into a somewhat green banana flavor then a sweat sock spent grain flavor. Finishes on the dry side, but the graininess lingers.

Draft at uber. Pours a hazy dark burnished copper with a loose white head. Big tangy banana nose. Not much else happening in the aromatics. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Bananas and caramel on the mid palate. Longish mild fruity estery finish. Nice but not very interesting.

Bomber thanks to Brewdad. Pours a crystal clear copper color with a large white head. The aroma is big banana and spicy malts. A rich Belgian Ale; lots of dry spiciness, some light biscuit, banana and pepper, not much hops here besides some light earthiness and light bitterness in the tail. Very drinkable.

Light bronze with a frothy, thin cover. Wonderful pepper yeast aroma accompanied by subdued banana. Green banana and watered down peppery yeast flavor. Interesting enough to be enjoyable from start to finish.

Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy light to medium amber. Aroma is moderately malty (cookie, caramel), lightly hoppy (apricot), with notes of gum, pepper, tangerine. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation. Pleasant nose but rather sweet.
