COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belgian Style Pale Ale: Soft Biscuity malts and fruity esters are well balanced with the finest Slovenian Styrian Goldings hops, making for a refreshing, easy drinking copper colored ale. In a goblet or pint, spend some time appreciating the aroma before you take that first sip. Admire the creamy head that forms, then indulge yourself in a continental pale ale previously only served this fresh on draft in Belgium.

This one was... meh. Rather disappointing as I've enjoyed some of Sound's other brews. This one was just extremely boring.

(22oz bomber thanks to bu11zeye) clearish gold, few bubbles. Nose of Belgian yeast, spicy, golden raisin, white pepper, dry chalky. Taste of umami, Belgian yeast, very dry, very lightly sweet, weird, highly carbonated.

My Bottom Line:
Earthy yeast, muddled sugars and fruity esters swim within this amateurish brew.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam circles the cloudy dark beige.
-Carbonation was very low, which doesn’t make sense at all for this type of brew. But perhaps this was the bar’s fault?
-The yeasty omnipresence neared astringence at times.
-The entire flavor profile was not well defined.
-The sugary flavors were a bit caramelized, a bit honeyed.

On tap at Devil Craft, Tokyo.

22 oz. bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is quite generic, like a macro lager, with corn / bready malts and not much else. Flavour is quite rusty and metallic, with copper and metallic notes. Nothing Belgian about this. Very off-flavoured and metallic. Not good at all.
