750ml bottle from letspour. Yellow pour with thin white head that leaves a ring. Aroma is grain and sugar citrus. Tastes are bubblegum, peach and tropical fruits, cloves, belgian yeast and wet grass. Strong bitter follow-through. Little sweet for my tastes, but well constructed brew.

Sampled at GABF 2012. Wow. Top three beers for my two sessions at GABF. Sprightly with spice and hops intermingling. Just really worked on multiple levels. Complex but not bogged down. A Belgian IPA to me.

Sampled on 10/11/2012 at GABF. This Belgian Strong Ale pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, a touch citrusy and tropical. A medium bodied Belgian Strong Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, yeasty and estery. The hops are herbal and earthy. Decent carbonation. A touch of tropical and citrusy hops. Interesting mix of malts, hops and yeast. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean, crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Botella. Unclear to hazy golden colour. White head. Fruity herbal hoppy citrus aroma. Good mouthfeel. Flavour has fruity hops with citrus and a pleasant bitterness. Bit alcohol too.

22 oz. bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is very yeasty, with loads of citrus zest, pretty much characterizing the nose. Flavour is nice and zesty with loads of orange zest, lots of Belgian yeast and a fair amount of Belgian spice. Spicy and zesty, nicely complex. A most excellent one here.

Dark gold with whispy white head / Bright nose of candied citrus, cut pine, and weed / Medium to full body, very sweet and somewhat syrupy, biting hops and bitter finish / Flavors of orange peel, honey, grapefruit, cut pine, and weed / For me, the overwhelming sweetness brings this down; otherwise, it would potentially be a very fine double ipa. No Belgian character that I can discern.

cloudy orange, small head. malty and surprisingly dry for a 10 abv aroma, some hoppy herbal notes too. flavor is strong hoppy bitter ,yeasty bitter, malty sweet, flowery notes, oranges, starts out to taste like a DIPA with belgian yeasts, and ends quite complex like a barley wine with belgian yeasts.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of yeast, malt, fruits, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of yeast, phenols, fruits, malt, alcohol, and quite a lot of different spices, leading to a dry spicy finish. The body is strong. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Lovely exotic hop aroma - very intense and almost herbal. Rich body with lots of fruit and malt in there and then again this shitload of aroma hops leading to a bitter finish. Quite some heat in there too. Luckily no Belgian yeast character, this is basically a good Double IPA. 200912
