Draft sample. Pale copper in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are a massive hit of tropical mango and cat pee, backed by a bit of pale malt. Flavors are a mix of miscellaneous tropical fruit, cut grass, nettles, black pepper, and a decent amount of bready pale malts. Medium bodied with a chunky rustic bitterness. Probably would have been better with a cleaner bittering hop, but fairly good as is.

I get a lot of that cat pee aroma and flavor on this one along with some body odor. Strangely it works. Nice.

Pint at Hop In Brew. Nice malt. Goidelic hops. A shade below the earlier Lagunitas IPA but very nice.

Served in 12oz tulip glass at Beer Revolution in Edmonton pouring a slightly hazy golden orange color with a finger of white head that leaves some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is mild with some citrus and grains. Taste is a grainy malt sweetness with a citrus and herbal hop bitterness. Medium bodied with decent carbonation. A nicely crafted brew which is quite tasty and enjoyable.

Tap at GJBF Osaka 2014. Big fruity nose, mango and more from the Mosaic. Thin-medium straw color. Solid fruity initial, hops hit and buzz around the tongue. Thin-medium body, which allows the hops to shine. Extra pale, but full in flavor. Hop-dominated, flavorful. Cool stuff.

Tap at Devil’s Craft, Tokyo. Amber color, small steady off-white head. Aroma is fruity, mango, pine. Medium-bodied. Front is sweet fruity the nice bitterness. Finishes to tropical fruity sweetness. Nice.

On tap at washington brewer’s festival. Clear dark gold pour. Aroma does mosaic full justice - juicy mangoes. Tastes mind-blowing amount of hop flavor. Runs gambit from tropical mango to pine. Some caramel as well. Slight syrup to palate, but also some resin and cream.

Tap at GJBF Osaka 2014. Big stone fruit nose, slightly tropical. Glowing orange with lace. Malty, peachy flavor, esters and big stone fruit. OK. A bit one-dimensional.

Presumably not batch 1 - Tap at Fiddlers July 16 2014.

Copper amber pour, limited head. Citrus peel and some grassy notes, a bit of pine. Plenty of hopping but without aggression, malts bring some toast to the table, topped with tangerine marmalade. Tasty but not quite sure whether it wants to bite like an IPA or quench like a sessionable pale.
