3.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is more of an imperial coffee stout with american hops, and as such it’s quite good.
Faint malty aroma with a hint of peach. Opaque black colour with a minimal brown head. Taste: roasted malt and intense coffee, spiced with american hops. 130 IBU, it says, but feels like less. No hint of alcohol despite high abv. Palate: flat, oily mouthfeel, full body, long pleasant finish.
