This golden beer is refreshing, boldly crisp, full bodied, yet not overwhelmingly bitter. Locally harvested honey adds that delicate touch of sweetness that balances very nicely with newly developed aroma hops. This product is fermented with a classic Pilsner style yeast and allowed to lager several weeks before it is packaged.

It looks like Iím alone here, but I really liked this beer. The only thing I will say is that I think it may have been overcarbonated. The second I opened it, foam shot out about 2-3 inches and it was hell to pour. Yellow body with a great head (maybe due to over-carbonation) that poured worse (or better) than a Duvel. Great retention. Aroma of homey and malts was very prevolent to me. Very crisp on the nose and pallate. Nice honey backbone to smooth out the hops nicely. Very smooth drinker. I could see sitting down with a six pack or more and not getting sick of it. It was a very fresh bottle so maybe they changed something since the other reviewers. Maybe worth a revisit by previous BAís. Solid offering.

Bottle. Golden with thin white head. Aroma of pils malt, slight corn sweetness, and light floral hops. Light body, malt, light sweetness (honey?), some floral hop notes, and sweet finish.

12oz bottle pours a clear golden/orange with a medium white head. Aroma of doughy yeast and sweetness from the honey. Taste of yeast with a slight sweetness on the edges of the palate from the honey with a touch of hops. Pretty clean and refreshing would have liked to see it a little more crisp, but overall an enjoyable Pils.

Pours a clear light amber color with a minimal head. Has a scent of mostly wheat honey and sweet malts. Has a smooth, crisp, clean taste of honey and wheat. Tasted really good with lunch. Essentially taste like a Leinenkugelís Honey Weiss with a bolder taste and thicker texture.

12oz bottle picked up in Ashland. Orange-tan, a pinch of chill haze. Steady thin, creamy white head, carbonation bubbles rising underneath. Buttery pff aroma. I guess it could be the honey, but if you need to add honey to your Pils, something is wrong. Assumably made by and for the training wheels side of the equation. An OK, tolerable Honey Lager, a terrible Pils anything. Embarrassingly bad....even worse that it costs the better part of ten dollars a six pack.

Bottle. Smells of a little citrus and wet leaves. Pour golden. Tastes sweet while drinking then with a sour finish. Have had sour beers that i really didnít like but i would drink this again.

Golden amber with white head. Sweet malt, earthy, candy, and medicine like aroma. Flavor like aroma, syrupy and mild hint of bittering hops. Medium body, lite bitterness, and sweet malt dominated. Not quite sure why this is classified as a pilsener. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at South Shore Brewery on Nov. 18, 2011. Pale yellow pour with noticeable carbonation bubbles. Light grain nose and a touch of honey sweetness on taste.

Overcarbonated, sweet, more like an epl or apl. I mean this one was super carbed.

12oz bottle at the Tagalong Golf Resort in Birchwood, WI. Dark yellow pour with a nice white head. Light malty, sweet aroma. Very smooth, a little honey and a nice hop bite in the finish, not bad.

Hazy gold pour, thin white head vanishes quickly, but does leave a few spots of lace. Aroma is faint, grassy hops, cereals. Honey really comes out in the flavor, also creamy, cereal elements. Definite funkiness in the finish; Iím ambivalent as to whether itís a good funk or a bad one. Thin bodied, somewhat watery.
