3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 prosqtor (408) - Appleton, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 7, 2008I feel like I’m reviewing the wrong beer. Although this was mega-carbonated, and a little fizzy, the honey hit just the right note to offset the hoppiness of the beer. As someone wrote, it’s hell to pour, but tastes good and is altogether enjoyable.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Atom (995) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - APR 4, 2013
12oz bottle pours a clear golden/orange with a medium white head. Aroma of doughy yeast and sweetness from the honey. Taste of yeast with a slight sweetness on the edges of the palate from the honey with a touch of hops. Pretty clean and refreshing would have liked to see it a little more crisp, but overall an enjoyable Pils.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Lemke10 (540) - Janesville, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 24, 2013
Pours a clear light amber color with a minimal head. Has a scent of mostly wheat honey and sweet malts. Has a smooth, crisp, clean taste of honey and wheat. Tasted really good with lunch. Essentially taste like a Leinenkugel’s Honey Weiss with a bolder taste and thicker texture.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 nuplastikk (3286) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 8, 2012
12oz bottle picked up in Ashland. Orange-tan, a pinch of chill haze. Steady thin, creamy white head, carbonation bubbles rising underneath. Buttery pff aroma. I guess it could be the honey, but if you need to add honey to your Pils, something is wrong. Assumably made by and for the training wheels side of the equation. An OK, tolerable Honey Lager, a terrible Pils anything. Embarrassingly bad....even worse that it costs the better part of ten dollars a six pack.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 dlbeer (383) - Wisconsin, USA - SEP 14, 2012
Bottle. Smells of a little citrus and wet leaves. Pour golden. Tastes sweet while drinking then with a sour finish. Have had sour beers that i really didn’t like but i would drink this again.
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 doubelknv3 (879) - Illinois, USA - AUG 2, 2012
Golden amber with white head. Sweet malt, earthy, candy, and medicine like aroma. Flavor like aroma, syrupy and mild hint of bittering hops. Medium body, lite bitterness, and sweet malt dominated. Not quite sure why this is classified as a pilsener.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 crossovert (4565) - Wisconsin, USA - MAR 6, 2011
Overcarbonated, sweet, more like an epl or apl. I mean this one was super carbed.

12oz bottle at the Tagalong Golf Resort in Birchwood, WI. Dark yellow pour with a nice white head. Light malty, sweet aroma. Very smooth, a little honey and a nice hop bite in the finish, not bad.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 noncaloric (684) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 25, 2009
Hazy gold pour, thin white head vanishes quickly, but does leave a few spots of lace. Aroma is faint, grassy hops, cereals. Honey really comes out in the flavor, also creamy, cereal elements. Definite funkiness in the finish; I’m ambivalent as to whether it’s a good funk or a bad one. Thin bodied, somewhat watery.

On Tap at the Great Lakes Brewfest. Mildly hazy golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of honey, corn and grain. Taste of honey, mild grassy hops and lemon.
