UPDATED: MAY 5, 2007 Draft. Had very little aroma, and the flavor was not hoppy like the deScription said it would be. The flavor was mainly malt, grain, and yeast.

(Sample Date: 1/17/2009 Source:South Street Brewery) Sampler at the brewery. Too much smoke in bar to get any aroma. Clear medium golden with small white head. Grain with light fruitiness in flavor. Light body with thin mouthfeel. Slightly sweet finish.

I was excited to see this one served on cask. It says unfiltered, but it was pretty clear looking with a nice amber red colour. The head was thin but dense. Smooth and creamy true to cask. I think it was served a tad bit warm though. I see this as more of a pale ale than anything else. Very upfront with a nice hop bill. I did feel ti was a tad bit too fruity for me, however. Iím not sure if that was the intent. It does sounds like this is a bit mor mundane from the cask than it is on draft.

Not bad. Pours brown/orange, brief and small head, no real lace. The aroma is bready, a little bit of pine. The flavor is malty, a little musty, the centennial hops are right there. Thereís a slight slightly citrus aftertaste. Decent.

This beer poured a copper gold color and formed an off white bubbly head that left some trace lace as it subsided. It had an aroma of hops and more hops. The flavor was of hops with a touch of caramel to offset the bitterness in the finish. A very good beer and probably my friend's and I favorite when we were there.
