Aug 27, 2005 A hazy orange beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet and very fruity - especially peaches coming thru - as well as very yeasty. The flavor is sweet with notes of wood, yeast, and caramel, but the body is thin. Definately one of the better Biere de Garde I’ve had.

Feb 22, 2008 75 cL bottle, thanks to Storm. Pours slight hazy orange with a collapsing white head. Light honey and mild yeasty aroma - into a light caramel aroma. Flavour is smooth caramel malty and subdued sweet and light caramel malt flavoured. Ends sweet caramel malt lingering sweet malt flavoured.

Aug 25, 2005 Updated: Sep 12, 2005Bottled at RBESG. Hazy deep golden. Buttery malt aroma. The geuine Flanders soft, dense, butterymalt character is definitely there, but lacks the lively champagnelike mouthfeel of the top examples. Instead this has more orangey hoppiness.

Sep 18, 2003 Hazy orange-amber. Earthy, woodsy, musty aroma. Yeasty, sourish. Notes of caramel malt, peaches, pears. Refined, not 100% to style, but few really good BdeG's are.
