nice and sweet but has a nice balancing tart element to it that is not quite sour....but refreshing...if it was not so rare I could see drinking this on a nice spring day.... Big honey and mapley syrup malty aroma undercut by a large amount of grassy, herbal and leafy hops. Pours a rather thick looking gold/orange. Nearly still save for a thin ring of white. Flavor is big, malty and hoppy. Tons of flavor for a 6% beer. Earthy, dusty, crisp and very refreshing. Excellent balance of hops and malt. The yeast presence on the finish is quite nice as well. Medium to full bodied. Crisp carbonation with a lengthy, dusty finish. Thanks a ton Eugene!
