Our version of a classic Bavarian Double Bock. Lagered for 6 weeks for a super smooth and rich character.

This is part of a beer club. Had only one bottle but was decent for the price. Poured great and had a nice finish. Would do again.

Very red appearance--I would have expected darker. Excellent soothing, slightly oily palate. An aroma like milk out of a plastic gallon jug that is just at the moment when it will go sour in the next twelve hours...yet as the beer warms it reveals a sticky toffee flavor that is more pleasing. The overall effect of the beer left me pleased but wishing for something that was missing. (on tap, d.b.a., Manhattan)

Faint but potent bock aroma with some vanilla notes. Deep ruby brown. A little vegetable/nut, fruity flavor, woody, extremely well-balanced and not bock-metallic. Nice bite to the backend with long finish. Very good.

This copper colored Double Bock poured with a thick foamy head, and long lasting lace. Very malty and upfront sweetness, fruity balance followed by a brief hop bitterness. Not as good as the German champions, but close.

Draft: Sparkling brass color. Beautiful ring of well retained foam. Exciting aroma of concord grape, glazed malts, soft earthy hop traits, dark honey, leather, black cherry jam, and chocolate covered plum. Delicious flavors of molasses, concord grape, leather, spiced rum, and long spicy hop tinges. Lovely balanced finish with spicy hop undertones and candied malt. A very complex and rich example.
