GirlyBeer (178), Biddeford, Maine, USA Aug 23, 2007 This beer looked like a white shout be, but that’s where the similarities end. It was thin, crisp, and lemony with coriander undertones. Not much for mouthfeel. The flavor was too lemony. This beer would be refreshing on a hot day.
rman18 (174), South Amboy, New Jersey, USA Oct 5, 2008 Poured a cloudy light yellow with a small white head that did leave a little bit of a lacing. It was very easy to drink and was wheaty with a little light spices. You could taste the yeast. Biddle_Brau (154), Midland Park, New Jersey, USA Oct 1, 2008 Light pale with white head that left some lacing. Aroma was grassy/musty and slightly fruity. Citrus and spicy flavor, clean and little hop profile. A nice easy drinking and flavorful summertime brew, with a bit more kick as a double. Slipstream (392), USA Sep 30, 2008 Cloudy, tan-olive colored pour that leaves lace on the glass. Pungent, citrusy aroma with strong floral and malt tones. This is quite robust for a witbier. The Belgian yeast flavor comes thru clearly, and other flavors are noticable too - orange, snappy hops, and a little coriander. More malty-yeasty than gently sweet, this is a spicey wheat ale that you could sip while watching autumn raindrops fall. This is my first rating of a Southampton Publick House brew, and you can color me impressed. mgoy (282), Oak Brook, Illinois, USA Sep 28, 2008 On tap and from a growler at Ginger Man in New York
Southampton Double White Ale is a cloudy, bleached-pale yellow color with an airy white colored head. The aroma has a complex wheat base, a touch of alcohol and a lot of citrus and lemon. The flavor is as complex as the aroma and has a great finish. This is a great strong Belgian White. tomthompson89 (1149), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 18, 2008 slightly cloudy, straw color, nose is coriander, dough, and some orange, flavor is ssome citrus, again some yeast, other belgian spices but very smooth and well balanced, quafable,
