A "double strength" version of classic Belgian-style "white" ale. A deceptively light ale spiced with Curacao Orange Peel and coriander seed.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear pale yellow with a two finger head that fades slowly to a nice solid cap. The lacing is thick, leaving a nice sheeting of foam behind. Smell; oranges and lemons are by far the dominant aromas, but thereís also a underlying sweet maltiness. The spices are a little on the tame side, but that works just fine for me as I sometimes have a hard time with overly spiced beers. Taste; mild coriander and peppery spiciness, followed quickly by orange peel and lemon, but thereís also a little bit of peaches as well. Itís a little tart through the middle, and then becomes just a little sweet towards the finish The wheat is actually very noticeable in flavor, and adds a nice depth to this beer that I donít usually get in a Wit. Mouthfeel is a bit sharp right initially, but then becomes quite a bit smoother with a fine carbonation that gives a creamy texture. Very nice. The drinkability is really damn good, and the alcohol is barely detectable.

Drank from a sampler glass at the Electric City Craft Brew Fest! Pours a hazy, golden color with nice head. The aroma is sweet, zero beer smell. The taste is too sweet and artifical, I expected more from South Hampton...

A lighter style with strong notes of orange peel. Easy mouthfeel and enjoyable on a hot summer day.

{From notes} - A light golden-straw colored cloudy brew with some larger particles floating about. An over-sized head - Iíll blame the tap rather than the brewer - that leaves nice lacing. Feel: Thin but as expected. Not dry. Coriander and other spices dominate. Nice spicing but inadequate flavor from the malts given the level of spicing. Not a favorite style Taking that into consideration, this is a nice version of the style. As noted above, however, too much reliance on spices for the flavor and nose.

Drought. Hazy pale yellow with very small white foamy head, citrus aroma, high carbonation, fresh citrus taste, medium finish with lemon peel aftertaste. Very easy to drink and quite tasteful.

Pours a hazy dark yellow. Has a strong citrus wheat aroma. A refreshing citrus taste with wheat, spices and yeast. A dry wheat aftertaste.
