Naka (443), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 26, 2008 Pours a hazy golden orange color with tons of sediment floating around. The head is about 1 finger thick and off-white. No lacing. Nose is lemon, bubblegum, honey, and yeast. The flavor didn’t pack as much punch as I thought it would, but it is very pleasing. Up front is more of the spicy yeast flavor, but it isn’t too bitey... it maintains a pretty smooth character. As that fades, there is some citrus and malty notes that linger on the tongue as the alcohol comes out. Leaves a slight bitterness in the mouth. A very creamy texture.
