3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 notalush (4173) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 21, 2003
This is a pretty decent lager. Probably one of the better lagers I've had. However, since I tried so many of their beers in one shot, this paled in comparison to most, if not all of them. Very wheaty - bread-like. If you like lagers, you'll love it, but I had to move on to bigger and better things. Good thing you can get beers in 4 ounce sample glasses, because this was def. a beer I wouldn't want to waste the money on a full pint of.

On draft @ Capones with Mad_Indian. Pours clear golden with a fair size white head. Aroma of sweet malts, biscuit, citrus, and grass. The flavor is biscuit, honey, and a grassy finish. Not the best style in the world.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 DCopperfields (145) - Alabama, USA - JAN 7, 2004
This poured golden allright, with a nice foamy head. Aroma was crisp with hint of citrus and floral hop. Decent lace for a lager. Good bold flavor of warm bread, hint of grapefruit up front, nice finish with a good amount of hop for the style. I had another pint, and I would call this a great session beer. Another fine offering from a great brewery.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 hopscotch (8215) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAR 13, 2004
On tap at the pub...
Crystal clear, light yellow lager with a small, fizzy, white head. Butterscotch, lemon and straw in the nose. The flavor is sweet, malty and slightly tangy. Maybe a little short on hops for a golden lager. A little too sweet up front. Light-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Lengthy, decently bittered finish... the hops finally make an appearance. Too little. Too late.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Chapel (468) - Levittown, New York, USA - FEB 18, 2008
This really is a very average beer to me which I don’t think I will have again. The aroma and flavor are rather grassy and bready which aren’t my favorite aspects in a beer.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 luckygirl (1223) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAY 24, 2006
Draught at the brewery. Beer was clear, light yellow and had a small, frothy/fizzy, white, mostly diminishing head. The aroma was kind of timid and watery, not a lot of sweetness: lightly malty with a note of toasted grain; hoppy with a light floral note and a moderate herb note; moderate honey note. The flavor was moderately sweet, lightly acidic and lightly bitter with a short, lightly sweet finish with a trace of bitterness at the back of the palate. The body was light, the texture was watery and the carbonation was lively.

Draft at SHPH. Pours a golden body with a light head. Sweet husky malty aroma and some earthy hop character. Flavor is also sweet and mildly malty. eh.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 muzzlehatch (4425) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - MAY 30, 2003
Aroma of buckwheat honey, light and pleasing on the palate, refreshing and quaffable, bright medium gold on the eye. Nice for a low-grav lager.

On tap. Poured a medium and clear yellow color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas toasted bread, lightly earthy, and a splash of citrus. Tastes of bread, grass, and had a sweetness to it. Body on the thin side.
