COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Visit an Old World lager brewery and the brewmaster will insist that you enjoy a "keller" beer direct from the aging tank. To a brewer this is beer at its purest: unfiltered, nuanced and gently carbonated. Southampton Keller Pils is just such a brew. And each year we make it with a different hop variety to create a unique interpretation of the pilsener style. Enjoy!

16 ounce pint - $6.00 at Taco Mac in Kennesaw, Georgia. Appearance: Served up a clear, yellow body with a finger-high cap of white suds and the standard laceworks on the way down. Smell: Pils malt with a delicate graininess to it and hop scnets of sliced lemon, unidentified spices, and distant cut grasses. Taste: Minimal sweetness from the pilsner malts. Slightly chalky, grainy dough character. Light lemon rind fruitiness. Grassy, spicy noble Hallertau hops with a good degree of complimentary bitterness. Lil’ squeak of acidity. Dry, grassy finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: A good, quality pils and a refreshing way to beat the heat here in miserable, muggy ole Georgia.

Draft at redlight redlight. This is about as good as it gets for a Keller in America. Crisp, packing full flavor and delicious. Grain, corn and some dried grasses in the aroma. Nobel hops through the palate. Great beer.

From a 12oz bottle into a pilsner glass. Pours yellow clear with a moderate amount of head. I thought these weren’t supposed to be unfiltered? This one certainly seemed crystal clear. Aroma of honey and mild hops, a little skunk too. Taste is smooth and crisp with a tiny amount of hops... I was hoping for a little bit more. A little skunk and some grass round it out. A very solid pilsner and worth drinking.

#3 Yall, 12 oz. bottle

Appearance: Pours a semi cloudy, pastel yellow gold. Within the body, you will see noticeable rising carbonation, and sitting atop is a dense foamy white head.

Aroma: Fresh cut straw, Eurohops and a little bit of yeasty bread notes.

Taste: An even mixture of bread crust and spicy hops, husky grain, followed by metallic notes finishing with bitterness a sour twang.

Mouthfeel: Crisp, refreshing.

Overall: A great summer drinker with some character. The hops really shined in this fresh beer.

Hey, it looks like me and Adrian are the first 2 to rate this. Thanks, Adrian. Toasty, yeasty aroma. A dry, bready pilsner, that tickles the palate. Very nice, snappy brew.
