This was a very light beer with a grassy taste and aroma. Not all that great.

Ugly, murky yellow pour with no head. Small chunks of yeast look sand in mybeer. Luckily everything else is excellent. Lemony and grassy aroma. Texture is smooth and creamy. Grassy and tangy hop flavors and solid malt back bone. Very nice.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Strong, malty aroma has a decided yeasty overtone. Pours a bubbly clear yellow with a fairly thick ivory head. Crisp, refreshing fruity has good malty, fruity and yeasty notes, a grassy hop bitter undertone, maybe nothing special but definitely enjoyable. Smooth texture lacks firmness, and fizz leaves something to be desired. Still a decent pilsner.

Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow with a medium white head. Aroma has grass and sweet straw notes. Flavor is spicy/grassy with good bitterness...some light cereal. Mouthfeel is light/medium with a nice bitter, dry finish.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Southampton Keller Pils has a medium, off-white head, some lacing, and a cloudy, bubbly, golden appearance. The aroma is of dank, musty, sugary grain, and the flavor is very hoppy, with a gentle bitterness. One will pick up medium-roasted malt, hay, grass, sugar, and even lemon with this beer. Mouthfeel is medium, and Southampton Keller Pils finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, mostly dry, and highly drinkable. A sure winner, which I unquestionably recommend! RJT

12 oz single bottle from "Lifesource" in Salem OR.
Poured into my PRB "chalice" it is a bright golden, slightly hazy pils ( seemed to be some yeast in the bottom as i poured..nice quarter inch sized white head.
Good malty, biscuity aroma with a hint of Saaz type hop
Taste is very nicely malted with a touch again of saaz type hopping, very balanced also getting some spiciness and yeasts showing through..like a regular pils mixed with a light hefeweizen..nice
Good palate, very enticing .
Excellent beer..would be terrific in the late Spring.

Decent brew from the East End. Not bad for a place owned by Pabst. Clear yellow color, decent head with a good pour. Kinda reminds me of Sam Adams Noble Pils

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Half a pint on tap at Prohibition Pig.
Appearance : Clear yellow with small head.
Aroma : Nice malt with light citrusy notes. Slightly peppery.
Taste : Nice malt with citrusy and fruity notes. Finish slightly yeasty with malt and spicy hops. Peppery on the finish.
Overall : Not as clean as it could be but still pretty tasty. Nicely refreshing with a nice malty finish. Highly drinkable. Coudl get a few more points by being crisper and sharper but very decent as is.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
My Bottom Line :
Peppery, herbal hops spice up this quite malty lager, bready flavors enveloping most of the mild hop bitterness.
Further Personal Perceptions :
-A veil of foam covers the misty gold.
-This is sweeter than the Mahr’s Pils I had next to it. I expected something crisper, I presume.
-The prickly carbonation helped pierce the doughy maltiness.
-Light citrus was shared by the hops.
On tap at Prohibition Pig.
