Taste is good amount of spices, small amount of pumpkin with some nutmeg. For a pumpkin beer it is average, not overdone or weak. Decent pumpkin beer. ckau (26), north east, Maryland, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 31, 2008 Draft: pours dark amber with a thin white head, aroma of spices, pumpkin pie, taste of spices, malt, just a touch of some hops present, solid pumpkin but not on the level of Southern Tier or Weyerbacher. dogfish120love (258), west hartford, Connecticut, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 25, 2008 Not bad I expected more pumpkin from this beer. If you want A beer that is not overwhelmingly sweet yet a pumpkinbrew than this is probably your best bet. In my opinion not as good as pumking plovmand (1603), Helsinge, Denmark
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 13, 2008 Bottle. Clear amber colour with a medium head. Spicy aroma with the pumpkin up front and some sweetness from the malts. No particular hops. Flavour is very spicy with a good malt base. The pumpkin is dominating but also cinnamon and nutmeg is present. Good balanced pumpkin ale. LilBeerDoctor (1493), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 20, 2008 Bottle. I’m surprised this is released in June/July, but nonetheless...pours a clear dark amber with a large white head. Aroma of rich pumpkin pie! (but it is not that strong, unfortunately) Flavor of spices upfront (nutmeg mostly), followed by sweet fruits (strawberry and raspberry) with a slight pumpkiny aftertaste. Fairly tasty, but I would like to see more pumpkin. Also it got a bit too sweet for my liking. There are better pumpkin ales out there. fredandboboflo (1404), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 20, 2008 Bottle. Aroma very pumpkin pie, heavy on the spices, maybe some nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice. Flavor gets kind of minty/wintergreeny, always spicy, a little less pumpkin from the pie. Did get a bit cloyingly sweet toward the end of my roughly 8 oz. portion, so wouldn’t want to drink more than that, but for at least awhile, very bold and luscious. saxo (3572), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark
