Flaske.

22 oz bottle poured a bright amber in color with a one finger light tan head. aroma has nutmeg, cinnamon, caramel malt, and sweetness. mouth feel is a heavy medium and medium carbonation. flavor has the pumpkin pie spice but it is at an enjoyable level and not overdone. enough sweetness and some chewiness keeps it from getting washed out. finish becomes dry with an equal dose of malt and spice lingering. done to a level where you could enjoy a few of these without it becoming too much.

Copper brown, small off-white head. Very spicey nose: nutmeg, cinnamon and clove. thin mouthfeel. Same spices in the flavor than in the aroma. There is some odd sweetness, maybe it is pumpkin? Overall very Christmasy beer.

(Bottle at Pikkulintu on 2008-05-15) Golden and clear. White small head. Clove and pickled pumpkin in nose. A bit acidic and light palate. Taste contains pickled pumpkina and clove, too. A bit sour aftertaste. Some salty liquorice.

(Bottled, 0.66l) Clear amber with a very small head. Spicy aroma of pumpkin, cinnamon and cloves, with some sourish hints. Flavor is also sweetish pumpkin, with tart hints and some berries. Medium-bodied with soft carbonation. A decent brew with interestingly spicy flavor and a dry, saisony feel.

Bottle: Poured a dark orange color with a thick white head. The aroma was sweet and spicy, hints of caramel, cinnamon and nutmeg. The flavor was smooth, light and refreshing. surprising coming from a pumkin beer. The flavor was not overly spiced with some faint hop character. Overall, one of the best pumpkin beers I’ve ever had.

Copper beer with tiny particles floating. Disappearing white head. Aroma leaves little doubt what this is: Perfumed nutty pumpkin, plus holiday spice like all-spice, nutmeg and cinnamon. Sweet and spiced flavour, with some alcohol. Dry finish.
